Hybrid Transvaginal Notes Cholecystectomy Using a Novel Flexible Toolbox and Internal Retraction System

Introduction: Natural Orifice Translumenal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES) is rapidly evolving. Improving the efficiency and safety of NOTES procedures requires the development of a stable platform, methods of internal retraction, and instruments for dissection. This video summarizes our experience performing hybrid transvaginal NOTES in humans (n=4) using novel instrumentation to address these technical challenges.
