ROBOTIC REPAIR AFTER COMMON HEPATIC BILE DUCT TRANSECTION DURING LAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY
Olivia Hopper*, Ziad Awad
Surgery, University of Florida Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL

This video presenta a 60 year old female who sustained a Strasberg Type E1 bile duct injury during a laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis at an outside hospital. She transferred on post operative day 1 to a tertiary care facility. She underwent early successful robotic exploration with hepaticojejunostomy.
This video demonstrates the expansion of robotic utilization in the setting of acute bile duct injuries in selected cases.
