Kristina Milivojev Covilo*, Sharona B. Ross, Hasan Al Harakeh, Iswanto Sucandy
Digestive Health Institute, Advent Health Tampa, Tampa, FL

Bleeding control is vital in robotic liver resection. This video presents six scenarios of intraoperative bleeding management, focusing on effective strategies to ensure patient safety.
Scenarios addressed bleeding from the portal vein, hepatic veins, and inferior vena cava, emphasizing vessel preservation and hemodynamic stability.
Hemostasis was achieved in all cases without major complications. Techniques preserved vascular integrity and liver perfusion, with no postoperative bleeding issues.
Mastery of precise suturing, bleeding control techniques, and maintaining visibility is essential for ensuring safety and achieving optimal outcomes in robotic liver surgeries.
