LAPAROSCOPIC INTRAGASTRIC GASTRO-GASTROSTOMY

This video highlights a clinical case involving a patient who underwent endoscopic removal of the band from vertical banded gastroplasty, using an oversized stent technique. This procedure resulted in fibrotic stricture of the gastric outlet, contributing to the development of reflux and peptic strictures in both the proximal and distal esophagus. We determined that addressing gastric outlet obstruction was a critical step in ensuring the success of endoscopic balloon dilation for managing such strictures. We present the technique of laparoscopic intragastric gastrogastrostomy.
