This video demonstrates a robotic parenchymal-sparing hepatic resection in a 46-year-old woman with stage IV pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (PNET) metastasis to the liver.
Tumors in segments 4, 6, and 8 were excised, preserving critical vascular structures. A laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed to mitigate postoperative biliary complications.
All lesions were resected with clear margins and minimal bleeding. Pathology confirmed metastatic PNET with negative margins.
This case highlights robotic liver surgery's efficacy, emphasizing vascular preservation, minimal bleeding, and a multidisciplinary approach.
