ROBOTIC RIGHT HEPATECTOMY FOR PERI-HILAR CHOLANGIOCARCINOMA
Andrea Ruzzenente*, Simone Conci, Laura Alaimo
Universita degli Studi di Verona Scuola di Medicina e Chirurgia, Verona, Veneto, Italy

Minimally invasive resection of peri-hilar cholangiocarcinoma is not typically performed laparoscopically due to technical difficulties in vasculobiliary dissection, lymphadenectomy, and biliary-enteric anastomosis. This video demonstrates a pure robotic right hepatectomy with segment 1 and common bile duct resection, and lymphadenectomy for Bismuth Type 3A tumor.
A 57-year-old woman presented increased levels of GGT and CA 19-9. The preoperative CT scan, MRCP and PET scan showed a suspicious Bismuth type 3A tumor that was confirmed by preoperative biopsy. The future remnant liver volume was 40%. During the surgery, an interactive 3D model was utilized as a guide for the resection.
