Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH

Endoluminal approaches provide a less invasive solution for managing complex colonic polyps, preserving the colon and rectum while minimizing major surgical interventions. Three cases of colonic lesions were successfully treated with different endoluminal techniques. A 46-year-old female's rectosigmoid polyp was removed via endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). A 64-year-old male with a transverse colon polyp was treated with ESD. An 83-year-old female with an ileocecal valve (ICV) polyp underwent hybrid ESD/endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). These cases highlight the versatility and organ-preserving benefits of endoluminal surgery, suggesting its wider adoption for enhanced patient care.
