This video is of a robotic giant hiatal hernia repair with loose nissen fundoplication in a 81 year old lady with persistent acid reflux. A 5 trocar technique was utalized. The gastrohepatic ligament was opened in a stellate fashion. The hernia was reduced and the hernia sac excised. A cruralplasty was performed and then a loose nissen fundoplication around a 54 french bougie was constructed. The patient tollerated the operation well and returned to normal activity by the first postoperative visit.
