Kei Nagatomo*, Edward E. Cho, Terence Jackson, Houssam Osman, D Rohan Jeyarajah
Surgery , Methodist Richardson , Garland , TX

23-year-old female presented with postprandial epigastric pain and nausea.

Preoperative workups revealed elevated celiac artery systolic velocity of 599 cm/s in expiratory phase (215cm/s in inspiratory phase) by celiac artery doppler ultrasound. CTA revealed a focal celiac artery narrowing of 60%, suggestive of medial arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS). Other preoperative workups such as LFTs, amylase, lipase, RUQ US (no cholelithiasis), HIDA scan (58%EF), Gastric emptying, CT enterography, EGD and Colonoscopy with biopsies were all negative.

On postoperative day 1, she was discharged with resolution of her presented symptoms.
