Ammara a. Watkins*, Alessandra Storino, Tara S. Kent, a. James Moser

Surgery, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA

We present robot-assisted completion pancreatectomy in a 74-year-old man with a history of open pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy for side-branch IPMN four years prior. Surveillance MRI demonstrated a new 2.1 cm pancreatic body mass concerning for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with Ca19-9 317. Time of operation was 5 hours 38 minutes. Blood loss was 200 ml. The patient tolerated regular diet by day 4 and was discharged home on day 6 after insulin education. There were no postoperative complications at 60-day follow up. Final pathology was moderately differentiated pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, AJCC stage 2B (T3, negative margins, 1 of 30 nodes positive). Ca19-9 normalized.
